Swans coach Paul Kelly revealed the 2.0 game plan after describing the side's numbers at preseason training as encouraging.
The Swans continued improvement in recent seasons resulted in them finishing fourth in 2019.
Kelly now wants the side to advance further next year and challenge the leading outfits.

His expectations for the coming season are "reasonably high".
He believes that he will now be able to move players "around more freely".
"We're getting good numbers at training, and hopefully our game plan improves and we can push them teams [Gunnedah, New England and Inverell] ... basically, [play] more sophisticated," he said.
"Bloke are getting their [football] knowledge up now ... we can have different setups around the ground: set plays and things like that a bit more.
"When you get 20 blokes to training, you can go through things like that ... everybody's gotta be on the same channel."
Kelly singled out Connor Betts as a player primed to take his game to another level in 2020.
"He's played the last couple of years," Kelly said, "and he really come along the last half of last year.
"So he's gonna be a big improver for us [in 2020]. And he's sort of grown a fair bit too. He's someone we might be able to switch around a bit in different positions if we have too."
