Instead of having a secret Santa it was decided to put the money that would have been spent towards the Farmers Appeal and fire brigade.
"We enjoyed our Christmas lunch with a lovely meal, lots of lucky door prizes, and drew our Christmas raffle with 10 prizes," said organisers.
"These were very generously provided by Bunnings and certainly helped with our end of year fundraising.
"Guests included two visitors, Shirley Griffen and Myra Langner, from Tamworth Evening VIEW and National Councillor Beryl Pike, also a local VIEW member.
"Beryl will next year be a National Vice President of VIEW so we're very proud of her.
"Peel Evening VIEW Club member, Sally Cronberger, visited at the end of the luncheon. She will also be a National Councillor next year so we will be well represented locally."
