PLAYERS from across the Tamworth Softball Association have done their bit to support the Breast Cancer Network Australia by taking to the field in pink.

All games in the association's weekend and midweek competitions helped raise funds for the cause, as players joined in the fun.
Senior and junior teams got in on the national Pink Sports Day initiative, and volunteers sold pink scrunchies and shoelaces in support of the cause.

Such was the popularity of the fundraiser, the association sold out of the merchandise.
The umpires also got into the spirit of the event, sporting pink skirts while officiating from behind home plate.
The fundraising efforts came after the Cougars Baseball Club raised money for breast cancer awareness and the Share the Dignity Campaign during the winter season.
Players will now turn their attention to the final softball round games before the Christmas break.
