Tamworth has close to the perfect side to propel them into the War Veterans Cup final by producing a big win over Inverell on Sunday, Tamworth's young captain, Jye Paterson, has said.

Tamworth will go into the final-round match in Inverell in third place but on equal points with second-placed Gunnedah, who play first-placed Narrabri in Narrabri on Sunday.
Narrabri - who Gunnedah defeated in last season's final - lead the competition on 12 points. Gunnedah and Tamworth are on seven points.
A team receives six points for a win.

Paterson said Tamworth would go into the match thinking it was must win.
He said: "We've got a very, very good batting lineup ... a few experienced players and a few good young players.
"It's a young bowling attack, but everyone's played first grade: been there a couple of years. So it's a good squad."

Paterson hopes Tamworth bat first and score a heap of runs and then the bowlers do their job.
