The fast-food chain has lodged a development application with Tamworth Regional Council for store on the corner of Roderick Street and Byrnes Avenue, just down the road from the East Tamworth McDonald's.
Three buildings will be demolished to make way for the takeaway food venue, which includes a drive-thru.
Up to 42 customers will be able to dine inside the venue, and there will a 21-space car park.

Documents lodged with the council say the development is consistent with the other nearby fast-food outlets.
"It is considered that the proposal will provide a net community benefit to the local and wider community, and form a significant local employer," the development application states.
The Taco Bell is expected to create up to 54 full-time and part-time jobs.
If approved, it'll be open from 10.30am to 10pm every day, except on Fridays and Saturday, when it will stay open until 11pm.
Last week, Taco Bell opened its first NSW store in Newcastle.
The fast food chain also has plans for a second NSW store at Blacktown in Sydney's west. It already has a couple of stores in Queensland and plans to open 110 stores across Australia by 2024.
