Fifteen-year-old Ben Heagney, 16-year-olds Darcy McDermott and Hamish Biddle, and 18-year-old BJ Cameron proved the future of cricket is bright with impressive performances then and will have the chance to prove it again at Bingara for round three.
Alongside the quartet, Olly Schmude, who sits in ninth on the Armidale District first-grade table for wickets taken, has been included in the squad alongside his father Dave Schmude.
Fellow Hillgrove teenager Sam Johnson, who captained Armidale's 2019 Walter Taylor Shield team, has also been added to the squad.
The Armidale School's undefeated second grade side's captain Cotter Litchfield will also line up. Litchfield is the leading wicket-taker for second grade with nine and third on the run-scorers' list with a total of 205.
The other new addition to the Armidale side, but doesn't fall into the teenager category, is last season's equal-second highest wicket-taker in the Connolly Cup competition in Nick Levy.
Levy has returned to the Armidale competition after a stint in Glen Innes.
It is set to be a tough ask with Gwydir big winners in their last-start over Walcha.
