There will be plenty on the night for the kids to enjoy with jumping castles, games, balloons and a special segment of songs just for them, as well as a variety of food stalls. This year's bucket walk appeal will continue to provide support in the drought with all donations going towards the Anglican Aid drought relief appeal.

Carols on the Oval - Kootingal
Bring a rug or a chair to claim your spot on the oval.
There will be kids activities including jumping castles, a climbing wall, balloons and more as well as a choice of food vendors. Have a picnic on the oval to begin celebrating the Christmas season with family and friends. And Santa will drop in for a visit. All this for a Gold Coin donation.

Christmas Carols by Candlelight in Quirindi
Christmas Carols by Candlelight in Quirindi will be held on Sunday, December 8 at the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village where locals can set-up chairs and picnic rugs for an evening of music under the stars.
The hungry hordes can snap up a free sausage sanga from 6.30pm and the carols will follow at 7.30pm.
Highlights for kids include rides on the miniature trains, a puppet show and lollies.
The annual event will be hosted by the Quirindi Ministers Fraternal and led by Harvest Church.

Lock it in - Christmas movie night
When: Saturday, December 21
Where: Salvation Army, Goonoo Goonoo Rd Tamworth
The Salvo's Christmas Outdoor Movie Night will begin at 7pm with a free sausage sizzle and activities.
At 8pm, when it is dark, the family Christmas movie will begin on the large outdoor screen.
In the event of unsuitable weather festivities will head indoors to the Function Hall.
Every person attending needs to bring their own chair and insect repellent.
Bookings are not required. Any questions can be directed to the church office.
