Country music star Troy Cassar-Daley was in Tamworth on Tuesday morning to launch the campaign ahead of the 48th Tamworth Country Music Festival in January, with a little help from his friends at St Mary's Preschool.
It's estimated 8 tonnes of recycling is diverted from landfill during each Festival, or the equivalent of about 520,000 aluminum cans.

But the message was not just about the festival, these youngsters are being encouraged to spread the word all year round, and "recycle right" at home.
