There will be plenty to keep the young, and of course young at heart, entertained this Thursday night for the official lighting of the Christmas Tree in Tamworth's Fitzroy Plaza.

As well as a visit from Santa himself, locals are being invited to take part in a guessing competition - both in the lead up to the event and on the night - for anyone who can guess the number of baubles on the Christmas tree.
The winner of the guessing competition will receive a family pass to Forum 6 Cinema.
There will also be market stalls, kids activities,and live music.
The winner of the Business Chamber's Shop Local campaign will also be revealed on the night. Will you be going home in a new car?
