Manahan and NSW Oztag development officers, Phillip Browne, Jordan Hollis and Liam Haddock have spent the week visiting local schools and touching base with local organisations.
Their tour took the quartet to Gravesend, Warialda, Bingara and Tamworth before finishing up in Coonabarabran for the kick-off of the town's new competition.
In Tamworth they watched the Wednesday junior and senior mixed competitions and visited some schools on Thursday morning.
It is the first tour of it's kind the organisation has embarked on in the region, but won't be the last.
"We've recently just added more staff onto our list so it will be a yearly thing," Manahan said.

He said it has been good to get out into the country and said they have taken a lot away from the tour.
"Everyone runs their comps differently so it's good for us to come up and see, pick up on little things they do well and other things we might need to give them pointers on," he said.
From what he knew previously, and has seen over the few days, he sees a lot of potential for growth in the area.
"There's lots of little towns that thrive on this sort of stuff," he said, using Coonabarabran as an example.
"I think there's definitely a lot of potential and Tamworth's continuing to grow as well - juniors and seniors."
"It's probably the biggest comp we've got. It's also attracted us to bring our big tournaments up here in the past."
