"This year with continuing drought conditions, we feel it is even more important to continue to cultivate a positive and supportive community culture and give back," principal Bonita Broughton said.
"Caring for ourselves, each other and out community is a strong message underpinning our social skills program for students."
Previously the Merry Monday celebrations have been open to members of the public, who may wish to hold a stall to sell goods, crafts or promote a service and this year the day will also be extended to local service providers.
"Our growing vision for Merry Monday is to provide a social opportunity for the community that provides access to a variety of different services. it aims to assist our local families by providing them with networking opportunities for mental health support, well-being and health services.
"We want to provide the community with a relaxed, fun evening that allows them to network with other families in an enjoyable environment.
"We hope the benefit of this event will be that it will allow for group interaction and conversations about things that matter to our community members," Ms Broughton said.
