Playing on his home court, the Gunnedah native not only broke through to win his first Division 1 singles title but also triumphed in the men's and mixed doubles.
In the singles he turned the tables on long-time rival Martin Russell.
Twice beaten by the Tamworth player in the final, Osmond won in straight sets.
It was though a tight tussle, Osmond taking the first set in a tie-breaker and then winning the second 6-4.
"He was hungry to get a win this year," North West Tennis vice-president Craig Louis said, adding: "some times it takes a few losses against a certain player to work out how to play them."
The local Gunnedah coach said it was a real credit to the teenager.
"He really dominated on the court with his power, and his movement is a key.
He's very fast around the court," he said.
"He had some very close matches but he was able to come up with the right play at the right time in those matches."
Louis experienced that first hand with Osmond teaming up with Tamworth's Daniel Nash to defeat him and Brian Williams in the men's doubles 7-6, 7-6.
Osmond completed the hat-trick by combining with fellow Gunnedah teen Anna Bishop to beat Armidale's Sahra Dennehy and Gunnedah's Matt Rouse in the mixed doubles.

"They lost the first set 6-nil but were able to keep their composure and win the second set 6-3 and then win the super tie-break 10-6," Louis said.
Dennehy was also going for the sweep after beating Bishop 6-2, 6-3 to win the Division 1 ladies singles and taking out the doubles with her. They won on games conceded after a three-way tie on matches won and remarkably also on games won.
The final title to be decided, Louis said to have the mixed final go down to a super tie-breaker was a fitting way to end what was an excellent weekend with "really good numbers" and some fantastic tennis played.
"The North West committee has been trying to build the North West Championships up over the last few years," he said.
Tamworth's Luke Powell took out the Division 2 men's singles, Gunnedah's Erin Murphy the ladies singles and Armidale's Justin Sherriff and Gunnedah's Barry Wilson the men's doubles.
In the juniors, Gunnedah's Archie McCormack (10 boys), Tamworth's Ezarlia Cant (10 girls), Gunnedah's Mason Louis (12 boys) and Amarni Louis (12 girls) won both the singles and doubles in their respective divisions.
