More than 150 high school students, from eight schools, participated in a Try-a-Skill event at Tamworth's TAFE campus on Friday, which was designed to give them a look their course options, to meet with some of the teachers, and check out the facilities.
Students were able to choose which workshops they participated in and spend an hour in each area before moving on.
