Hazlewood starred with the ball, along with former NSW Country player William Gell, with both quicks bagging four scalps as Norths were routed for 44.
Earlier, Redbacks pacemen Brad Redshaw and Adam Greentree tore through Old Boys' batting line up - claiming five and three wickets, respectively.
Hazlewood said: "We obviously got a well-below-par score for what we should have got batting first on that. But runs on the board in finals and there's a lot of pressure - anything can happen.

"We've got a lot of experienced players when it comes to finals time. Obviously we've played a lot [of finals] the past six or sevens years."
Norths went into the match radiating confidence after winning their opening five games of the season (all one-dayers). It was their first finals appearance since they beat Old Boys in the 2014-15 one-day decider.
Brad Walters (Old Boys) and Brendan Rixon (Norths) both scored 15 - the highest score of the match.
