Robert Gordon and Kyle Smith remain behind bars ahead of sentencing for robbing The Pub, on the corner of Gunnedah Road and Dampier Street, in October last year.
The pair appeared in Tamworth Local Court this week, where they pleaded guilty to one count each of robbery with an offensive weapon - a charge that carries a maximum of 20 years' imprisonment.
They were not required to enter a plea to a related charge of destroying or damaging property, but it was referred to the same court on a Section 166 certificate and will be dealt with on sentencing by the judge.

Magistrate Julie Soars committed the pair for sentence to the district court in Tamworth.
Both will front an arraignment hearing later this month to formally enter their pleas.
Gordon was refused bail by Ms Soars; Smith made no application for bail and it was formally refused.
Just before 8.30pm on October 1 last year, two men armed with knives entered The Pub and threatened staff, before demanding money and fleeing the scene with cash.
Oxley police set up a crime scene and detectives took charge of the investigation, later releasing CCTV images of the suspects they were searching for.
Gordon, 22, was arrested by detectives in the Northern Tablelands in January and charged with armed robbery.
After extensive investigations, detectives tracked Smith to Newcastle, where he was arrested on May 8. He's been behind bars since.
