A picnic is nothing without cake though, and the team presented our Tamworth Regional Council Sports Award-winning volunteer Jeff Benson with a couple of cakes in appreciation of the tireless work he does for the park and club.
Our small crew of helpers had 10 Gravity Groms participating on balance bikes and other small bikes.

The Groms had the delight and confusion of a new loop, incorporating the park's pump track.
With parents on-hand all the kids were giving each other hi-fives and smiles at the end.
Cadence Clark again represented in the Dirty B category, with another big effort this week.
In our Dirty As it was Kaitlin v Eliza, with Kaitlin placing 1st and Eliza being the most consistent and settling for 2nd.
We had nine riders in our young Dirty As. William took the lead from the outset but Liam and Harry had some close racing on some of the parks best trails.
1st William 2nd Nathan 3rd Harrison.
For the big kids and in Elite, Justin stomped past the A Grade riders after a Le Mans-style start of the Elites and As.
Hot on his tail were Lachie and Kal from A Grade, plus our other four Elite riders. They were directed up the main firetrail for a full heart-in-mouth effort.
As the riders stretched out on the trail Elite finished 50mins of racing.
1st Justin Roberts 2nd Crummy 3rd Ben Clark
A Grade intertwined with Elite riders on the same start time and trail, and they certainly stretched their legs.
Lachlan kept on the Elites coat-tail which may have made the difference as Marty had to work his way from the back and young Kal drifted around the top three positions.
1st Lachlan (gaining an extra lap!) Butters 2nd Nathanael Sharples 3rd Marty Siddons
In B Grade Terry looked promising and lead for the first lap, on his tail and a second behind was Ross.
The mover and shaker for B Grade was Robbie who worked his way, through a fast 2nd and 3rd lap into a top position.
For the women Lisa was making good time on what was a busy track this week, her passing manoeuvres were faultless.
B Grade Men: 1st Ross Aylwin 2nd Robbie Blair 3rd Terry Balla
B Grade Women: 1st Lisa Roberts
C Grade was competitive one with a number of on-going battles throughout the order.
Of note was the mid-pack battle between Lachlan, Leon and James.
In a close race Leon managed to beat Lachlan.
