Sent into bat, Gunnedah was dismissed for 149 in the 47th over.
Braithen Winsor (35) and Justin Carter (31) top-scored for Gunnedah, while Jake Vigor chipped in with 29.
Opening bowler Rory Dempsey claimed 4-43 off nines overs, while Shane Betts claimed 3-12 off six overs to lead the way with the ball for Peel Valley, who were dismissed for 119 in the 31st over.
Brett Douglas (30) top-scored for Peel Valley, while Ashley White (3-33 off six overs) and Vinnie Winsor (3-24 off 10 overs) were the pick of Gunnedah's best bowlers.
It was Gunnedah's first win of the annual tournament, after they lost to Moree in their opening match.
Peel Valley have lost their opening two games.

Gunnedah captain Blake Small said "it was a good way to bounce back" after the loss to Moree.
He said Winsor's knock was "probably the best I've seen him play in a long while, for a good up-and-coming kid".
He added: "It was a pretty good game. We took every chance ... We didn't drop a catch."
