In round two, they only missed out on a win to premiers Easts by one wicket and then lost to Guyra by 30 runs, but batter out their 45 overs.
"We are probably the most upbeat we have been in a long time," Servies captain John Elliot said.
"There's some really good vibes in the squad and in the club as well.
"For us to not get bowled out as well, that is a really big positive.
"We didn't let their score overwhelm us, previous times last year, we got overwhelmed by the runs we had to chase which led to our downfall."
They'll play Hillgrove this Saturday for round four.

Servies will welcome back Dan Hogan after he missed the game against Guyra.
"He adds to the bowling, to be honest where we are wining and losing games in the first 10 overs, we are giving away too many runs," Elliot said.
Elliot tried to wear some of the blame for the early lapses.
"That comes back to myself in particular," he said.
"I haven't been bowling well enough."
