Police said Ms Starr attended Port Macquarie police station about 10pm on Wednesday evening.
EARLIER:
Police are appealing for help to find a woman with links to Tamworth who is missing from the Hunter Valley.
Carissa Starr, 30, was last seen leaving a home in Singleton between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Tuesday, November 5.
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District were notified on Tuesday night and launched an investigation.
Police said officers and family hold concerns for her welfare.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 165 and 170cm tall, with an average build, black hair and brown eyes.
It is believed she may be travelling in a white Mazda 3, bearing NSW registration plates, ECW 10Z.
Police have said Carissa has connections to the Singleton, Tamworth and Gosford areas.
Anyone who has seen Carissa, her vehicle or knows of her whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
