In what has been described as one of the best grand finals played in some time, the Outsiders defeated the Wombats 6-3.
David Howarth was in top form for the Outsiders with the highest peg-out of 80. He also hit 3x100, 129 and 140, Chris Watts 4x100, Chris Soley 121, 135 and 140, Darren Oliver 8x100.
Adam Minett had 63 peg-outs for the Wombats and 9x100 while Grahame Klein scored 100, Anthony Mabbott 100, 125, 140; Geoff Simpson 4x100, 140; Curtis Senn 100 and Ben Spence 2x100 and 105.
The Nemingha Misfits pipped the Southgate Intruders 6-5 in a closely contested B grade grand final, Sean Spear's double proving the difference.

The attention now turns to the Winter Championships, which commence on Wednesday night with the singles and will run through to next month. There is a possibility that the winners of the singles championships will have the chance to play against top English player Andy Hamilton when he visits and plays at the Werris Creek Bowling Club on Thursday November 28.
