It's the third year in-a-row a Gunnedah side has been crowned A grade champions with the Gunnedudes victorious the previous two years.
This years effort was all the more impressive for the fact that they were a mixed team. As the name suggests - Gunnedudes - they have previously been more of a men's side.
They were undefeated for the weekend, and beat the also mixed Moree Tradies 3-nil in the final to claim the silverware.
Regulars at the annual carnival, Gunnedah was this year represented by two mixed teams.

The second side - the Gunnedoos - contested the F grade final but were outclassed by the Pension Day Warriors 9-nil.
"It's a great carnival, which is why we've been going for 12 years as an association," Gunnedoshots captain Paul Brady said.
"It's very much mixing the social aspects of the sport with a bit of competition."
He said it was great to see two mixed sides playing off for the spoils in a predominantly men's competition.
"It says something for the sport that women can compete with men, and against men, and hold their own," he said.
The core of the side has been playing together for a number of years, which Brady believes is one of the secrets to their success.
He said they are also quite fortunate to have some players in the group "that are pretty good at what they do".
The likes of himself, Dean Whitton, Casey Hatch and Emma Costello have played some rep touch before while Jamie Mitchell and Adam Mooney are prominent figures on the local rugby union and league scene.
Thirty eight teams travelled from all over NSW and Queensland to participate in the carnival, which has been running now for 27 years.
The region was well-represented in the finals with the Quirindi Wanderers making it through to the B Division final but going down to the Gilgandra Brown Musketeers 2-nil.
The focus for the Gunnedah players now turns to next month's State Cup.
"We've got three teams going, three mixed teams," Brady said.
