Her love of country music started in the backseat of her mother's car on long road trips.
The pair would wind down the windows and sing their hearts out to Shania Twain and Faith Hill.
"I love the storytelling aspect of country, not just that but the community feel," Cassidy-Rae said.
"A lot of parts of the music industry can be isolating, but country is family oriented even between musicians - we're all in it to celebrate our passion and joy.
"It's not just thumping music but true storytelling."
The song was written at Tamworth's CMAA Academy of Country Music with the help of Katrina Burgoyne.
Cassidy-Rae shot a video for the track in Nashville, and described her time there as a "party everyday".

"Those were the good old days when people were like that."
Cassidy-Rae played piano on the cruises and would use the stories guests would tell her to inspire new songs.
A number of those stories will feature in her releases next year.
"Up until recently I have been drawing on personal experience," she said.

"When I travelled around the world performing to thousands of people on Carnival Cruise Lines, they would tell me their stories in life and love and I've written songs about that.
"It was more about learning to evolve myself as an artist and musician."
Cassidy-Rae will be headed back to Tamworth Country Music Festival in January 2020. "I really couldn't miss it, I have a performance lined up at the FanZone Stage," she said.
