The Let It Pour 2.0 campaign will see all proceeds from Great Northern beers poured on Friday and Saturday at The Albert Hotel go to the Rotary Clubs of Australia Drought Relief Appeal.
Tamworth is one city that's really struggling, publican Melissa Rule said.
"It's not one pub or business alone, you can tell people don't have the means to enjoy themselves while they're putting their money into the feed or stock," she said.
"Water is the biggest issue at the moment, with the dams running dry it affects the whole region, that's evident in Tamworth.
"This is a fun way to raise funds, have a chat and a cold one, because we're going to need it, it's the only thing we'll have left to drink shortly."
Great Northern Brewing Co has donated 1000 kegs across Australia and more than 220 pubs and clubs across the state are taking part.
In Gunnedah The Railway Hotel is on board with the Let It Pour campaign as is the Commercial Hotel at Boggabri.

Great Northern's Antonia Ciorciari said the brewery has been humbled by the passion and generosity of the people who responded last year.
"Not only did the events unit country and city communities for a common cause, but they also showed rural people affected by drought that they were not alone," she said.
