Tamworth's Fiesta La Peel saw Fitzroy Plaza turned into a microcosm of the world's culture on Saturday, with hundreds of eager explorers ready to taste and experience it all.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate just how culturally diverse the city really is, festival organiser Carol Hughes said.
"With 86 nationalities living in Tamworth it's a great way to bring all the cultures together and let the community see the entertainment they provide, the food they cook and the cultural costume they wear," she said.
"This event has been a big success every year and it's surpassed what we expected.
"We have 43 different cultures represented here tonight with either entertainment or food."
And there was plenty of food.
From Fijian curries to Nigerian Jollof rice there were plenty of cultural cuisines on offer.
Multicultural Tamworth advocate Eddie Whitham was thrilled with how many people turned up to share their culture.
"That's what it's all about really isn't it?" he said.

"Cultures getting together and sharing, about people learning more about each other - we have 86 cultures here in Tamworth and at least 40 of those here today."
A few thousand people attended the twilight event where long lines for food wound their way around stilt-walkers and Irish dancers.
It was one of the city's first night-time events and Ms Hughes said it's a good kick start for the night time economy.
"I think there is a calling for events like this that are on later at night but are still family-friendly," she said.
"It wasn't even 4pm and it had already shaped up well."
