Sing Me A Story is no exception to O'Shea's moving musical style, and it's all about the love of a good story.
"[It's about] how we can apply those stories to our own lives and learn from them," he said.
"Sing Me A Story is also about highlighting our ancient need to express these stories through art, be it through a song, dance, or being scratched into a cave wall."
The song was co-written at The Dag Songwriter's Retreat in Nundle with Felicity Urquhart.
The pair first performed the song in front of 30 peers, and tried to share their songwriting process, O'Shea said.
"When it comes to writing, the songwriter's retreat is pretty full-on, and we were both pretty brain-drained and up to song number three for the day," he said.
"But, in knowing this was going to a be a public co-write, it had sat in my subconscious for a while hopefully waiting for inspiration to strike.
"And that morning thankfully the line, 'I'm there in the ochre,' came to me in a dream, which really set the whole song on its course."
