Having joined the club ahead of the 2018 season, next season will mark Rampling's third at the helm of the Roos.
The 2019 season yielded little joy for the Roos, as the side won just two games.

However, Rampling believes the side is "not too far off" making an impact on the competition's top four.
"I think making finals will be the big aim for us next season," Rampling said.
"Obviously, all of the other clubs are trying to make the finals as well, but we are confident the players we have can get there.
"Our big focus, to start with, will be continuing the improvements we made this season."
Having entered a reserve-grade side for the first time in the club's history, Rampling said 2019 "laid a great base" for the club's future.
"Off the field, the club is in a really good place at the moment with the construction of our new stand complete, new sponsors coming on board and growing player base," he said.
"What we are aiming to do is to try and replicate that off-field success on the field, and I think the way to do that is to continue to strengthen our reserve-grade side.
"If we can do that, it will create competition for spots in first grade and hopefully make us more competitive overall."
Rampling said fitness would be a major focus for his side in the off-season.
"At this stage, we are looking to start training in early December," he said.
"It does depend on availability and what the fixture looks like, but we are pretty keen to get a good pre-season under our belt.
"I think most of the guys know we need to improve our fitness and I think they are pretty keen to get stuck into it."
The 2019 season included the emergence of several future stars for the Roos, including hooker Matt Gillham and club best and fairest Bailey Lennox.
"I'd say seeing those two guys come into their own was a real highlight of our year," Rampling said.
"We are currently working on getting a few guys in from different places to help support those guys and make them even better again.
"Hopefully we will have more news on that front soon."
The club is currently on the look out for a new reserve-grade coach and a ladies league tag coach for next season.
"We are looking for someone to fill those two roles for next season," Rampling said.
"It's been a great year, so I'm pretty confident we will have two really good people step into those jobs."
