The second round of the North Coast V-Twins Coffs Harbour NSW Short Course Road Race State Championships was held at the go-kart track at the Oakburn Park Raceway, attracting junior and senior riders from all over northern NSW and even southern Queensland.
It's the second year running that Tamworth has hosted a round of the series, which was established by the North Coast Road Racers Inc.
Riders raced on road and supermotard motorcycles in various classes including stock, dirt bike and superlite.
Paul Slade was one of the most successful riders over the weekend finishing first in both the stock and superlite.
Glenn Nelson took out the junior race (12-15 years), Juan Carlos Lopez the dirt bike, James Jacobs the junior 400, Jack Foster the road race lites, Ross Nisbet the road race open and Cameron Swain the rookies (9-11 years).

Swain's win was his second for the series and saw him extend his lead at the top with one round remaining.
That will be held at Grafton on October 26-27.
Nisbet took advantage of round 1 winner Brad Trivett not competing, to jump from second to first. He also leads the dirt bike open after finishing third in the Lismore round and second in Tamworth.
Foster, Jacobs and Nelson also lead their respective classes while Col Cheetham sits atop the standings in both the stock and superlites.
