Headlined by the exploits of the all-conquering women's 7s side, there was plenty to celebrate, with both men's sides also reaching the finals.

The Red Devils' player player the last two years, Navatu was instrumental in the first grade sides' charge.

The barnstorming number eight, who finished fourth in the zone best and fairest, was simply outstanding and along with the The Shell/Walker Trophy also picked up the Wilf Hockings Memorial Trophy as the leading tryscorer across all the grades.

"He almost gets better every year," first grade manager Stan Gaynor said.

"To score 19 tries as a forward is telling for how influential he was."

Stepping up from the under-19s last season, Ray Spradbrow was named the players' player.

Gaynor said it was a good acknowledgement of how good a season the second rower had.

"It was well-deserved," he said.

"Especially his performances in the first half of the season."

Not expecting to play first grade this season, after impressing during the pre-season Spradbrow was thrown straight into the top grade and pretty much stayed there.

Jono Madden was adjudged the best forward and Cameron Mitchell the best back.

Joe Bridge's consistency in second grade was rewarded, with the inside centre receiving The Sawmilling Trophy as the best and fairest and the Tamba Industrial Cup for best back.

"He was outstanding at inside centre all year in terms of going forward and in defence," Gaynor said.

Captain Lincoln Stewart was named the players player while Jeremy Brown was named the best forward (Davidson Cameron Cup).

Inspirational women's captain Sarah Stewart followed up her player of the grand final win by being recognised as the best and fairest.

Stewart was also named the best defender for the second year in a row, while newcomer Maddy Collison was judged the best attacker and finished the highest pointscorer.

Collison, who missed the latter part of the season with injury, was also the joint best and fairest runner-up alongside Torika Nadruku.
