Detectives allege Seivers supplied more than 12 times the indictable quantity of the opioid drug, available to the public by prescription only.
Seivers' defence solicitor Harry Pendlebury appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Monday to mention the matter.
"We would like an adjournment to make a plea in two weeks, on October 7," Mr Pendlebury said.
There is no bail in the matter.
In court, Magistrate Julie Soars adjourned the case to October 14.
