The 17-year-olds are charged with the aggravated break and enter of a dwelling in company; stealing less than $60,000; being carried in a vehicle taken without the owner's consent; two counts of larceny; and possessing an unauthorised firearm.
The Gunnedah residents appeared in a Children's Court yesterday and will return on Tuesday.
The charges stem from a theft last week, in which two rifles were stolen from the footwell of a ute parked on Little Barber Street.

The incident happened some time between 9.30pm on Wednesday and 6.30am on Thursday.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified after the ute was found resting against a boundary fence with the firearms and several other items missing.
Police inquiries found someone had broken into vehicle owner's home and had taken the car keys.
After police investigations, the first boy was arrested on Tuesday afternoon at an Oxley Highway address.
The next morning, the second teen was arrested at a home on Conadilly Street.
Both boys were taken to Gunnedah Police Station and charged.
Oxley Rural Crime Prevention Team will investigate further and police said "numerous additional charges are expected to be laid".
Gunnedah Police Inspector Michael Wurth said it was not known whether either of the rifles had been discharged, but there had been no reports of gunshots since their theft.
