Kurt Eather has impressed during the UCI Junior Nations Cup Tour de DMZ in South Korea.
Representing the NSW under-19 team, Eather overcame an early setback to finish the five-day tour with positive results.
Eather suffered a puncture on day one of the tour and had to fight back after falling more than 5km behind the peleton.
Despite the setback, Eather was able to finish the fist day in 64th position.
Day of the two of the tour also yielded positive results for Eather, as he finished the 113km stage in 40th position.
On day three, Eather put in a stellar effort to finish fourth overall out of the 88 competitors who competed.
Stage three was the longest of the tour, with the 128km stage also featuring a competitive sprint phase.
A drinks break saw most of the under-19 NSW team fall behind the peleton, resulting in a 65th place finish overall for Eather.
A crash on the final day saw most of the team rally to fight their way back into the race.
Eather finished the final stage in 56th position after recovering from the crash, which occurred about 30km into the stage.
