The North Tamworth Bears claimed their sixth-straight first grade premiership by defeating the Kootingal-Moonbi Roosters 40-4 at Jack Woolaston Oval.

Bears No.10 Shane Wadwell was named man of the match in the 36-point win.
In reserve grade, the Manilla Tigers celebrated their re-entry into the Group 4 competition by taking out the reserve grade premiership.

Earlier in the day, the North Tamworth Bears and Dungowan Cowboys battled it out in an enthralling under-18 showcase.
Despite a late comeback from the Cowboys, the Bears were able to hold firm and record a 22-14 grand final win. Take a look at the photos here.
In the ladies league tag decider, nothing could separate the undefeated North Tamworth Bears and the Dungowan Cowgirls after regular time, with it tied at 14-14.
North Tamworth then found another gear in the 10-minute over-time period, scoring three unanswered tries to run out 30-14 winners.

The under-16 preliminary final began the day, with the Dungowan Cowboys defeating the Gunnedah Bulldogs 32-10.
The win will see the Cowboys play off with Farrer in next week's grand final. Check out the photos here.
Central North preliminary finals:
Pirates quest for a fourth-straight Central North first grade premiership will take them to Walcha for the grand final after they defeated the Blue Boars 31-25 in Narrabri.
The Moree Bulls proved too strong for the Gunnedah Red Devils in the reserve grade fixture, claiming a 22-16 victory. The Bulls will now play off with Pirates in the grand final.
In the women's sevens clash, a masterclass from Phoebe McLoughlin inspired Pirates to a 26-17 win over the Narrabri Blue Boars.
McLoughlin scored a hat-trick to set up next week's women's sevens grand final against Gunnedah.
Earlier in the day, the Barraba-Gwydir Ram-Rats defeated the Narrabri Blue Boars 22-19 in the under-19 preliminary final.
The Ram-Rats will now take on Pirates in the under-19 decider next week.
Northern Inland Football Premier League:
First grade second semi-final: Tamworth FC 3 defeated North Armidale 0.
Reserve grade second semi-final: North Companions 3 defeated North Armidale 0.
Tamworth Baseball Association:
A grade: Warriors 16 defeated Gunnedah 10.
B grade: Warriors 16 defeated Pandas 5.
