The annual event will offer expert runners and beginners alike the chance to get active on either the traditional 8km course or the 2km course.
This year's event will see runners pound the pavement in support of two worthy causes: Gunnedah Rotary 2380 and the Gunnedah RSPCA.

Rotary 2380 member Lauren Robertson said this year's partnership with the RSPCA would provide entrants with a rare opportunity.
"In support of the RSPCA, this year we are encouraging people to take part alongside their pets for an additional $5 entry fee," Robertson said.
"We're hoping that this event will not only raise much-needed funds for our local RSPCA, but will also encourage people to get out and get active."
A long-time staple on the region's calendar, the 8km event gives runners the chance to take to battle it out on the streets of Gunnedah.
"It is a very special event because it is one of the few times a year that all the streets are closed down for competition," Robertson said.
"The 8km event will see all the runners go around Gunnedah, while the 2km event will be around the showgrounds.
"Whichever event people choose, they will be guaranteed a fun time and positive experience."
Robertson said events such as the Gunnedah Gallop were crucial to the club's annual fundraising efforts.
"We have a lot of exciting projects that will benefit the community on the go at the moment and hopefully this event will be a great fundraiser for those," she said.
"A lot of what we do is centred around drought support, but it's not the only project we have going on.
"So far, our drought relief fund has raised over $100,000, so it would be good to help continue that good work, as well as our other projects and the RSPCA."
Registrations open for Sunday's event at the Longmuir Playing fields at 8am and the runs begin at 9am.
"It should be a great day out for the whole family, with a jumping castle and barbecue also running throughout the day," Robertson said.
