If you're a bit overwhelmed with everything on offer, we've compiled a list of things we reckon are must sees at the show.
Have a bucking good time at the rodeo
The rodeo will kick off a huge evening on Saturday night.
The cowboys and cowgirls are set to hit the arena at 6pm. You can also check out the youngsters on the mini bucking bulls at 3.30pm.
Watch the night sky come alive when it's filled with fireworks
There's a number of things that people associate with the show and fireworks are one of them.
So get ready for a huge fireworks display on Saturday. The fireworks will light up the Tamworth sky at 9pm.
Listen to Hurricane Fall
After the fireworks, stick around for Hurricane Fall. The Newcastle-based band will hit the stage at 9.15pm for an all ages show.
The country rock act won't be the only live music on offer, either.
The Memphis Moovers will also be banging out tunes on Friday and Saturday.
Barbecue up to some of the country's best grillers
This year the show will play host to the Australasian Barbecue Alliance Tamworth Show Championships, with $10,000 in prize money on the grill.
The competition will see winners crowned across chicken, lamb, pork and beef brisket, on Saturday night, with teams of up to four able to enter the two day event.
Winners of the competition will be announced at 5pm Saturday, during the rodeo.
Have a look at some racing of a different kind
We get plenty of horse, greyhound and harness racing around the region so why not mix it up with some camel racing?
The heats will be happening on Friday evening from 6pm while the final will take place on Saturday at 4.30pm.
Check out the Tamworth Showgirl Competition
The winner will be crowned after the grand parade and official opening which is set to take place at 2pm on Saturday.
The winner of the competition will represent the town at the zone competition. If successful at zone, entrants will then go on to represent our region at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2020.
Jump on the rides
At the top of the Tamworth Show's must-do list of rides is the Aviator. Passengers will be hoisted 33 metres into the sky and spun around and around.
Other rides at the show include: Super trooper, fun factory, crazy cars, jetson coaster, tea cups, pony ranch, bungee trampoline, crazy fun slide and ski flyer.
Pet parade
Want to see some of the most stunning pets Tamworth has to offer?
Then you should head to the pet parade between stable B and stable C at AELEC on Saturday.
The competition run by the Loomberah & District Rural Youth Club starts at midday.
Titles up for grabs are fluffiest pet, smoothest pet, pet that looks like its owner, best dressed pet, pet with the shortest legs, most unusual pet, pet with the best tricks and cutest pet.
Buy a show bag
Have you really been to the show if you don't get a show bag?
We don't think so.
There will be a range to choose from and the only question is: which one will you get?
For us, we can't go past a good, old Bertie Beetle show bag.
These things are just the tip of the iceberg. Check out the full program here.
