The 20kg bales were used to separate and set-up exhibitors stalls at the field days, and on Friday ACM's Rural Events called Aussie Helpers coordinator Peter Fanning with the news.
"It is like being given gold - farmers are screaming for it at the moment," he said.
"They are smaller bales, but it is lucerne - the good stuff - nice and juicy."

Mr Fanning will be letting local producers know about the winfall over the weekend, and on Sunday morning any farmers needing a hand will be welcome to come pick up "about ten bales each" from the Agquip site.
"There is probably only enough for about 30 or 40 farmers, but it will keep them happy for a few weeks," Mr Fanning said.
"It all helps, and it is so nice to see people are still getting looked after whenever there is an opportunity."
