Sarah Michelle Daves, 33, spent the weekend in a cell after she was pulled over by police for a random drug test at 3:10am on Saturday morning on Marius Street.
Daves is charged with driving disqualified, breach of bail and possession of a prohibited drug. Police are still waiting for the results of the drug test, but Daves appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Monday and is yet to enter pleas.
Magistrate Julie Soars granted bail on the strict conditions that Daves be of good behaviour and report to police three times a week.
Ms Soars noted in the bail conditions that Daves posed a risk to the public because of the seriousness of the alleged offence and the potential danger it put members of the community in.
Daves was banned from occupying the driver's seat of a motor vehicle and ordered to reside in Tamworth.
