That was the sentiment around Dangar Park on Saturday afternoon after Narrabri downed arch-rivals Moree 42-31 to complete an undefeated second round and wrap up second spot.
While the Blue Boars couldn't have missed out on the finals, they needed to win to secure a major semi-final berth and give themselves a shot at a home grand final.
In contrast to their first round encounter, which was a penalty-fest, Saturday was a fast, pulsating and high-scoring affair. The Blue Boars led for the majority of the contest but were never really able to shake the Bulls off with only a try a separating them for much of the game.
"I thought we were the more dominant team but credit to Moree they kept coming at us," Blue Boars skipper Matt McDonnell said.
The Blue Boars didn't help themselves with a few mistakes, with two of the Bulls tries coming from intercepts, and another a charge down.
Consigned to the sidelines courtesy of a week's suspension for three yellow cards, McDonnell thought overall though it was a pretty good performance and particularly noted their patience.
"We did hold onto the ball and put pressure on Moree," he said.
"We haven't done that the last couple of weeks."
"We haven't been able to execute in our 22."
Before Saturday they had only managed to score more than 30 points once in their last five games - four of which were against the bottom four sides.

It was encouraging just before the finals, centre Jacob Nichols pursing a hat-trick and prop Will Turner a double.
"Especially coming up against teams like Walcha, who have got a lot of points in them," McDonnell said.
He said prop Joe Maunder had an "unbelievable" game. Turner and number eight Sam Knight were also standouts - the points reflecting how central the Blue Boars pack was to the victory.
"The forwards played well. Our breakdown work was a lot better than it has been," McDonnell said.
Particularly against Pirates they conceded a lot of turnovers.
He said they will take a lot of confidence from their second round.
"We know we can beat everyone," he said.
"We've just got to be able to start games a bit better."
"We can't be giving teams 19 point starts (as they did against Pirates) in the finals and expect to come back."
They now have a welcome week off before tackling the Rams for the first spot in the decider.
"It's been a long second round. We've had a lot of away games and a lot of tough games," McDonnell said.
"It will be good to have a bit of a rest."
