GUNNEDAH native Harry Wilson is poised to make a major impact for Brothers in their Queensland Premier Rugby Hospital Cup grand final against University of Queensland on Sunday.

After starring for the Junior Wallabies during their World Cup campaign in June, Wilson has been a key player in Brothers' final four games of the season.
Wilson's performances throughout the season were so impressive he was awarded Alec Evans Medallist as the Queensland Premier Rugby player of the year, despite turning out in just seven games for Brothers.
The up-and-coming flanker was pivotal in Brothers' semi-final victory over GPS, combining with fellow Junior Wallabies star Fraser McReight for three tries in the side's 48-40 victory.

A Hospital Cup victory has been a long-held goal for Wilson, who told the Namoi Valley Independent he was eager to take home the Cup for his side.
"It's just fantastic to be in a position to win a Hospital Cup with Brothers," Wilson said.
"I was at the club when they last won the first grade premiership in 2016 and it was just massive.
"People still talk about it and I would love to be involved with a premiership myself and have that with me for the rest of my life."
Despite losing his first game back from Junior Wallabies duties, Wilson said Brothers had "got on a roll" ever since.
"After losing that first one we won the next three games in a row, so I'd say we are really hitting our straps right now," he said.
"I think we put in our best performance against GPS in the semi, they are the reigning premiers and a really tough team to beat.
"That win gave us a lot of confidence going into this grand final."
Wilson said "defence would be key" to winning Sunday's decider.
"We have a pretty strong attack that regularly puts a winning score on the board," he said.
"Defence will be super important for us, hopefully we can put in a complete performance and take home the Cup."
After the grand final Wilson said he would turn his attention to the National Rugby Competition (NRC).
"It's a pretty short turn around, our first NRC trial match is the week after the grand final and round one is the week after," he said.
"Hopefully, I can keep the momentum from playing with Brothers into the NRC."
