Disability services provider Sunnyfield hosted its 7th Annual Indoor Sports Day for people with disability on Wednesday at the Tamworth Sports Dome Centre.

Participants came from as far afield as Narrabri, Gunnedah, Armidale, Glen Innes and Inverell for the social event.
"People in the New England region and beyond living with disability are always excited about the Sunnyfield Sports Day," said Ada Maughan, Sunnyfield Regional Manager, New England.
"This annual event supports people with disability to mingle, get out there and have some fun whilst improving their health.

"This year the fun-filled event hosts over 120 people with disability from the New England and Hunter regions and provides them with an opportunity to get actively involved in both individual and team events such as javelin, soccer, egg and spoon races and a sports day favourite - the giant tunnel ball race."
