Two teenage girls have been flown to a Newcastle hospital, while an 11-year-old girl is recovering.
Oxley police have confirmed they're trying to piece together the circumstances of the crash on Monday afternoon on Pinedale Road at Walcha.
Ambulance NSW confirmed paramedics were called to reports a car had slammed into a tree about 2.30pm.
On arrival, paramedics found three girls, two aged 14 and one aged 11, all with various injuries.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked from Tamworth with a critical care medical team on board, including a doctor and paramedic.
The crew treated the 14-year-old girl, who ambulance personnel said had suffered pelvic injuries.
The other 14-year-old girl suffered facial injuries and bumps and bruising in the crash, the spokesperson said.
Both were stabilised at the scene and flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a stable condition.
Paramedics at the scene assessed a third girl, aged 11, for minor injuries, but she did not require further treatment.
Oxley police said investigations into the crash were continuing.
