On stage, the taiko drumming troupe display a staggering strength, using their entire bodies to play and share their intense passion that comes out in their pounding, high-energy and thrillingly thunderous performances.
As the troupe makes its way back to Australia, they bring wth them the Odaiko drums.
Used in Shinto rituals, the drums weight over half a tonne each and require exceptional skill and physical strength to produce each floor-shaking note.
The drummers have been all over the world and will head to Tamworth for the first time with their newest show Passion.
Yamato recently celebrated 25 years of performance and have toured to 54 different countries with more than 3500 shows, reaching almost eight million people.
