Lows of minus-four have been predicted for the next two days in Tamworth, while a minus-eight could be on the cards for Glen Innes.
Meteorologists have forecast a high pressure system to settle over the region bringing cooler conditions in the mornings, lighter winds and probably warmer temperatures in the afternoons.
