That was the assessment of Swans coach Paul Kelly after the Nomads beat them by 46 points in the elimination final in Armidale on Saturday.
Kelly said his side did not handle the bitterly cold and windy conditions. Snow fell on several occasions during the match.
The final score was 9.11-65 to 2.7-19.

"I thought we were in the game for most of it - just our kicking let us down a bit," he said.
"We didn't kick very well into the wind. We're just not used to it. The Armidale boys are probably a bit more used to that windy, cold weather.
"So we didn't handle the conditions real well."
Despite that, Kelly said the Swans were competitive and still a chance of winning the match heading into the final quarter - when they trailled by 46 points.

At that stage the Swans were yet to kick a goal. They had six behinds, while the Nomads had booted seven goals and 10 behinds.
Dale Gericke kicked Tamworth's two majors for the match in the final quarter.
In the major semi-final at Inverell on Saturday, Gunnedah booked a grand final spot with a 45-point win over the Saints.
