The incident occurred about 6.10am on Wednesday near Magpie Street at McDougalls Hill. Emergency services remained on scene at 7.30am and northbound motorists have been asked to allow extra travel time, or avoid the area if possible.

There are also changed traffic conditions on the highway at Lochinvar, near Wyndella Road. A reduced road width of 4.6 metres has been implemented east and westbound and there are scheduled lane closures.
