Aden Mohamed failed to front court in Tamworth in July on five drug-related charges, prompting magistrate Julie Soars to order his arrest.
Ms Soars waited until the close of court for the day for his arrival but, when Mohamed failed to show, she ordered a warrant to issue for his arrest to bring him to court.
Mohamed faces two counts of possessing prohibited drugs; supplying more than an indictable quantity of methylamphetamine; dealing with property that is the suspected proceeds of crime; and participating in a criminal group.
The arrest warrant relates to all five charges, according to court documents.

The 28-year-old spent a brief time in custody after his arrest when Oxley police raided an Anthony Road home in Tamworth just before 1pm on March 25.
Inside, they allegedly uncovered almost 100g of methlyamphetamine, or ice, cannabis and cash.
Officers claimed at the time the ice had an estimated street value of $47,000. It's the police case that the drugs were to be supplied in the local Tamworth area.
Mohamed, who police said didn't live in Tamworth at the time of his arrest, was granted bail on the condition he live in the city with a woman and report to police seven days a week.
He was also ordered to surrender his passport and not approach any international points of departure or leave the state of NSW.
As part of his bail condition, Mohamed is also prohibited from taking drugs.
Police said other drug paraphernalia was found in the house which they allege was used in the supply of the drug.
