Phil Glover, sale co-ordinator, said there would be a wide range of genetics available to satisfy any breeder's needs and that quality was guaranteed.
"Bulls are performance recorded with Poll Hereford Breedplan which means that comparisons can easily be made between bulls for such traits as calving ease, birth weight, 200, 400 and 600 day weights as well as carcase data such as IMF," said Mr Glover.
"All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale."
Tim Walsh of Fleming and Ross in Gunnedah who has conducted previous sales was impressed with the evenness and quality of the whole offering.
Apart from being the natural dehorners, Poll Herefords add softness and do-ability to either a purebred or crossbred operation.
There are some new and profitable opportunities for Poll Hereford cattle in that they are ideally suited to the growing pasture and grain fed components of the European Union beef market.
The Namoi Bull Sale will be conducted under the Helmsman buying system.
