The region finally felt the full icy blast of winter over the past few weeks, although that has been quickly forgotten this week as the sun returns and warm days shine down.

While the warm sun may feel good on the face, it also serves as a slap in the face for local farmers, and residents alike, with no large scale rain events forecast, and more warmer than average winter days on the horizon.
For the next seven days straight the Bureau is forecasting maximums of 19 and 20 degrees, with a frosty 0 degrees forecast as the minimum on Thursday, and one degree over the weekend.
