The new school term started on Monday, bringing school zones back into force.
Between 8am and 9.30am, as well as 2.30pm and 4pm, 40 kilometres per hour school speed zones will be operating.

School zones marked as no stopping can not be parking in unless there's an emergency. A $337 fine and two demerit points apply for anyone who disobeys the sign.
Bus zones can not be parked in between 8am and 9.30am or between 2.30pm and 4pm. The fine for doing so is $337 and two demerit points.
In areas marked as No Parking (school zone), motorists are able to stop for a maximum of two minutes to drop off or pick up a passenger. The driver must stay within three metres of their car. Breaching the rules will lead to a $187 fine and two demerit points.
Stopping across a driveway or double parking can both lead to a $337 fine and two demerit points.
