Holly will take part in the Larapinta Trek to raise funds for Parkinson Research. What a lovely thing for a young lady to do. I believe over $2000 was raised on the morning.
To those of us who took part we say thank you to the many mothers, grandmothers and great grandma's of Kurrajong Village for all the wonderful cooking they supplied for morning tea.
They certainly know how to still cook.
Thanks to all for working together for a worthwhile cause.

Bush summit fallout
The major parties talking about the bush in Dubbo on Thursday 18/07/19 demonstrates again the failure of those parties to adequately plan for the future of Australia under the current climate and drought realities.
They have been in power for more than six years at federal level and more than eight years at state and yet what drought mitigation measures has rural Australia seen that substantially mitigates drought?
Up until July 2018, the Coalition at state level refused to accept the gravity of the disaster throughout rural NSW and thought they were doing enough.
The loss of Barwon and Murray and failure to retrieve Orange proved the emerging political schism. In other areas the Coalition were lucky.
A good friend of mine complained recently that she struggled to find any Australian grown bacon in a local supermarket, more serious will be the loss of Australian dairy farmers. Imagine not enjoying Australian milk and other Aussie dairy products?
The Coalition are climate deniers hence their tardiness to help rural Australia out.
They hope that it will rain and then more difficult decisions won't have to be made and more difficult questions about water management won't have to be asked.
The "Build More Dams" brigade at federal, state and local level think that increased storage's will be the panacea for our environmental and water woes but ultimately more dams will only provide the major parties with more water assets to privatise - foreign corporations, party donors and vested interests cannot wait.
The reality is they've barely started planning any dams or construction and we need significant rains when complete which isn't guaranteed.
I fear Australia is run by a bunch of major party fifth columnists that are busily undermining Australia at all levels, in all industries, aiding and abetting an approaching enemy from within and our demise.
Who would like to help stop their clandestine tricks?
