The award, now in its second year, gives the public a say in which business has the best customer service from all 110 businesses named as finalists in customer service categories this year.

The voting portal will be accessible for free on the Leader's website, with each member of the public able to vote once for their favourite business, with voting closing at midday on August 2, one week before the gala awards night at the TRECC.

On Saturday, the Tamworth Business Chamber named all 110 businesses, and 22 individuals, who had been named a finalists, following an exhaustive nominations and judging period, where over 60 independent judges "mystery shopped" all 434 nominees.

Chamber president Jye Segboer urged all locals to show their support for their favourite local business by voting in the People's Choice Award.

"The awards are all about celebrating excellence, so the public vote is another way to applaud the hard work of our finalists," he said.
